Reducing Plastics in the Ocean within a Growing Global Economy: Understanding the Information Needs to Support Interventions

The Initiative is currenty conducting a case study focusing in the information needs of efforts to tackle the wicked problem of reducing plastics in the ocean in the context of a growing global economy. The decision to conduct this case study was made during the workshop held on December 16-18, 2019 in Brest, France. The case study is prepared using the case study tool available in the virtual workspace accessible for registered users. The case study utilizes a Case Study Template that ensures a transdisciplinary approach to wicked problems in sustainability (Figure 1).
